PARIS is an exciting city with so many places to discover whether it is the café culture, a different hotel, designer boutiques, an historical site or relaxing in a park. Paris can also be a personal experience; whether you are getting off the beaten track, discovering a different arrondissement, taking a day trip out of Paris or enjoying a new glass of wine at one of your favourite places. Paris has something to offer to everyone!
This website is being built from many adventures in Paris and beyond and it is a work in progress. I love history and it takes time to explore it all. The site is not meant to cover everything in the City of Lights and it is not intended to favour one tour company, hotel or tourist attraction over another. Therefore, some pages may be published but they may also be under construction.
FLYING INTO CDG? Beware of taxi scams! Taxi’s to and from Charles de Gaulle airport are a flat rate i.e. anywhere between 55 and 70 euros. Ask the driver before departing. If someone offers taxi service and says it’s metered it’s a scam. Also, taxis are not more expensive on the weekends.
NOTE: In 2025, Canada citizens will be required to complete an ETIAS application prior to boarding an aircraft, sea carrier, or coach (bus) for Europe (changed from 2024). This includes travellers who are only transiting in Europe en route to other destinations. Click here for more information.
